Latest News › The Ultimate 4D QA Solution

ArcCheck is a 4D isotropical cylindrical detector array for Rotational Delivery QA and Dosimetry.  It can be applied to the Patient plan QA, Rapid Arc, VMAT and TomoTherapy measuring both composite and per control point.

It can also be applied to the Patient plan QA, Rapid Arc, VMAT and TomoTherapy measuring both composite and per control point.  It can also be applied to routine IMRT and non-modulated open fields, Imaging, Machine, Room and Set up QA.

The ArcCheck provides the smallest available detectors for accurate measurements.  The product provides easy set-up and is lightweight.  It provides real-time updates.

Specifications:

1386 detectors with 1cm spacing, 21.0cm diameter and array length.  It is user calibrated with a single power/data cable.  It has a central hollow cavity which reduces weight, and makes it easy to transport.  The cylindrical advantage is coherent QA, the BEV is consistent regardless of angle and detectors remain coherent to beam vectors.  It measures entrance and exit dose and has a versatile central cavity.  The cylindrical array is shaped like a patient.

The ArcCheck provides helical detector geometry.  Detectors do not overlap from a BEV perspective; the benefit is increased detector density.

The unique cylindrical (helical) design of the ArcCheck enables failure mode mechanism analysis, measurement and correlation of gantry angle, leaf end position, absolute dose and time (4D) to identify the source of the error.  Error sources include the Treatment Planning system, Linear Accelerator, imaging system, setup and the MLC position errors.

The ArcCheck is manufactured by Sun Nuclear Corporation and distributed in the UK by Imaging Equipment Ltd.
